that! and even once you have a diagnosis and plan and treatment, wow can yr body throw some surprises with side effects/symptoms π lots of unpredictability.
the number of times I have said Every cancer is different and everybodyβs cancer is different (usually to my nearest & dearest). fascinating and also super annoying* And so super complex what happens at the cellular level, that is mind-blowing! and completely sucks π

I was reading something earlier today that reminded me thereβs still a lot in health & medicine thatβs beyond our control. So even with huge advances in medical science & technology, everything we know about cancer or fertility or whatever, sometimes stuff still just happens. Itβs beyond our control
oh this is probably the time to be thinking ahead to summer travel and things like A Week at a Lake, instead of realizing mid-July I would like to be somewhere and itβs too late
oh ew, π¬ π€’ I accidentally swam in the Charles River in Boston once about 30-something yrs ago (unfortunate sailing incident) and π€’ did not get sick! but was warned to get a hepatitis shot by concerned passersby π (I did not)
yep, there definitely have been environmental causes. hmm now Iβm curious also bc a friend was recently commenting on the amount of *stuff* buried all over in this area π Not that Iβm trying to start or contribute to a conspiracy theory either! π

Cancer is a massive pain* and the target of a lot of my anger. I havenβt looked seriously into the why/how many of diagnoses, but I do know we hear more about cancer now than historically, so there are probly unknown or hidden family cancer histories. But yeah, Iβm with you! >:(
