Today, we honor the life of former State Representative and City Council President Terry Fields by lowering flags at City Hall to half-staff. Our thoughts continue to be with the Fields family as we all mourn this public servant, statesman, and friend.

The barricades are off and the Lone Star Road Extension is now open 🚧 Stretching from Mathews Manor Drive to Southside Connector Boulevard, improvements include a new roundabout, roadway connections, lighting, landscaping and a shared-use asphalt path.

Guns & Hoses returns to the ice April 11th as local Police and Firefighters battle at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in their annual charity hockey game. One ticket gets you in to both Guns & Hoses at 3pm, and the Icemen at 7pm.
