When you are trained as a community organizer, you are challenged to articulate your why. As in, why you are in the work. Deep and authentic organizing work is predicated on deeply understanding your own reasons for engaging in it.
So my question right now is β why? 1/2

In his final drive for power Hitler had considerable financial backing from a fairly large chunk of the German business world...What good [that] eventually did these politically childish men of the business world will be seen later in this narrative."

Meanwhile, the slaughter at sea continues.
No telling what a military that engages in a months long killing spree outside the law might do.
The Post and Courier, which is leading the investigative work on the woman who accused Trump of sexually assaulting her when she was a child, looks into the womanβs FBI interview and substantiates many details through public records
Still waiting to see if there's a time when the views Murdoch airs in WSJ affect the coverage he oversees on Fox.
Bc Murdoch could change public opinion pretty quickly...
maybe I'm focusing on the wrong thing here but this is the wildest shit I've ever heard a white South African say and I study racism for a living
A purpose of the war on Iran might well be to provoke a terrorist attack inside the United States. This would provide Donald Trump with a pretext to try to cancel or βfederalizeβ the coming Congressional elections.

The DOJ released evidence, which the FBI deemed credible, that the President of the United States sexually and physically assaulted a 13 year old girl AND she was afraid to talk about it because Trump would kill herβand itβs somehow not the biggest scandal in American history?

This story is quite possibly at the heart of the Epstein case and why the president and his loyalists are going so far to suppress and distract from the files
Salt water laced with cancer-causing chemicals, a byproduct of oil and gas drilling, keeps shooting out of the ground in Oklahoma.
Experts say it means even more wastewater is spreading underground, poisoning the stateβs water supply.

The federal government awarded contracts Sunday to renovate two warehouses, each designed to hold 1,500 people, into immigration detention and processing facilities in Maryland and Arizona, according to contract records. The Maryland facility is scheduled for completion by May.
βthe cost of gas doubling is a small price to payβ is an incredibly funny thing to say as the head of a political movement that in many ways is still built on a nationwide psychosis triggered by having to go about four weeks without a haircut six years ago.
And youβre a fool to be worried about how youβll be able to afford to heat your home. Or drive to work.
Today, International Womenβs Day, I am thinking of girls who will never become women. And the callousness of men who hold great power but very little care.
How we will never be safe unless we have world leaders who hold safety as a core value. I mourn these girls.

Weβre still murdering people in βdrug boatsβ even as we start a new war in Iran. Six people today.
The footage shows that at one point an MPD officer asks Jackson and the DOGE lawyer if the USIP building is owned by the General Services Administration (which typically deals with the federal governmentβs real estate). βItβs a private building, and thatβs why we need MPD,β Jackson says.
