I love Ulru (the gargoyle). He’s so tender and sweet. When a baby bird decides to nest within his crown of horns, he allows it. All he wants is to take care of those around him.

This 1 is proving to be a lil more challenging b/c they’re looking for a kidnapper/killer. Sometimes I forget that low angst applies to the relationship of the love interests & not the other conflicts in the story. When you hear “low angst” do you expect everything to be rainbows & butterflies? 2/4

One of the biggest departures was Lady Catherine. Her “will you ever marry my nephew” chat was actually on Darcy’s behalf! He was afraid Elizabeth would refuse to see him and so she went in and tested Elizabeth and then came out and gave her approval.

I just watched the 1940s version of #prideandprejudice for the first time. P&P is my favorite and it was fun seeing this version. Laurence Olivier’s Darcy is sweeter and more awkward. It was like a P&P speed run. There were several things cut out and the end came together very quickly. 1/2

Now don’t get me wrong, I love Gandalf but boyyy is he mean to Pippin at times in LOTR:TFOTR 📚. “Fool of a Took!”

But what makes him infinitely better than Dumbledore is that he recognizes his harshness and corrects it with kindness after the fact.

My love of reading is strongly link to this man…

I had every intention of killing off a character in my current #wip but I think I’ll save her and use her for a different story.

Lucky her, she gets to live and find love.

I’ve been in a writing slump lately. I think part of it was not knowing how exactly I wanted to get from point a to point b.

Now? I think I’ve figured out my game plan. I have also written over 2k words today.

Had a dream where my brain had a friend say something that hurt my feelings. I know it was a dream but it feels like it was real.

Sometimes I hate when I decide to incorporate a detail, into my writing, that I think will be easily researched & verified. AND THEN it takes a stupid amount of research & results in gaps & contradictory info.
