Awesome. Saw it at 10pm- 11 pm in clear sky in Sydney. Australia. So lucky.

Awesome. Saw it at 10pm- 11 pm in clear sky in Sydney. Australia. So lucky.
Yep. In Tassie Gummy shark is called flake. Itβs the best ! My favourites are from flippers at constitution dock in Hobart or northwest at Stanley - Hursey seafood. Coles Bay is such a lovely spot for Fish and Chips ! Yum.
Yep. Definitely a thing, although I havenβt lived in Tassie for 23 years. You could hire them everywhere you could hire normal bikes.
Where are you ? It had better be flake
Wabi-sabi in food form then ! Awesome
At the nursery at Featherdale Wildlife park in Sydney one of the mum koalas often looks after all 3 babies while the two other mums just sleep or munch on leaves. The keeper said she is just so patient. Itβs very cute.
Two bichons in a stroller
A dog pram/stroller is a thoroughly fabulous thing. Also Jack is gorgeous.
Baby 1 year old pandas
We were there for New Year. They are adorable together. She really pushes him around. Itβs fun !
We are so lucky to be Australian. I was listening to the thousands of sulphur cresteds in the trees in a nearby park last night and smiling as the fruit bats flew high overhead on their nightly pilgrimage. Yesterday the pelicans flew high and the magpies sang for grubs - all as I walked my dogs! π
Who needs food when there is such a fabulous puppy !
Two bichons. One in a tent I bought on Amazon for the dogπ€£
Dash and Benny. I bought him a tent! π€£
Mount Fuji from a plane.
Mount Fuji from an ANA flight. Simply amazing. #japan
There is a sponsorβs lounge which famously looks out at the flame
Monster in the ride - so when you get to that point in the ride, look back to the other side as he roars and you can see the window ! Imagine being in there sipping coffee and watching the ride.
Kew Gardens Christmas lights/ experience. In London. Sold out most nights. So if you are going next year get in early !
Freezing cold.
Tickets from 4.30 because that is when it is dark π€£
A great 2 mile walking trail.
Easy access from central London by train.
British Magpie. Unrelated to the Australian Magpies
I am obsessed with birds. In Australia I adore Australian magpies.
I love British Magpies too. Even though they are in no way related to ours. #birds
Liberty Department Store is a beautiful quirky building in the heart of Theatre District. In London you must go a buy luxury or at least something in Liberty Fabric.
We like to go to the Ice Cream Parlour in Fortnum and Mason
In London.
You can have afternoon tea upstairs, but there are better ones in London IMHO.
But the ice cream parlour is incredibly gorgeous and has luscious flavours. I suggest the banana split flavoured ice cream.
Fortnum and Mason in London was chaos. So busy. So many biscuits. So many people. So much tea.
It is the home for British Biscuits (cookies)
Like any Omiyage store in Tokyo Disney !
The Buckingham Palace shop London has a cute little chalet for Hot Chocolate and cake for Christmas.
A shopping bag themed to Disney with Mickey Mouse ears
Selfridges London Christmas is Disney themed. The shopping bags are everything. Just brilliant.
In London the luxury stores of New Bond street put on a Christmas show.
An elderly Bichon under the Christmas tree.
My Bichon Bennet has mastered the art of being truly present in any situation.
Me with Mary Berry at Pritchards bookstore. The oldest bookstore in London 1797
Hatchards bookshop in Piccadilly is amazing. Since 1797.
There was a book signing nearly every day.
I was so excited to meet Mary Berry. She was amazing. Just brilliant.
I now have too many books weighing down our luggage.
Selfridges window of Lady and the Tramp at Tonyβs.
Selfridges Christmas windows were themed to Disney. All kind of unique merchandise which as a Disney nut was awesome.
London was pumping with Christmas. The streets were packed with people. The department stores were so busy you couldnβt walk ! Fortnum and Mason , Liberty, Selfridges, Harrods- all crazy but sooooo christmassy. Christmas carols were playing everywhere and the light displays - amazing.
Hadestown is the most perfect musical in London. Clever and flawless. We saw it in Sydney but the London version is much more tightly and expertly produced. The performers were perfect. We saw it twice. The circle is hot - dress accordingly or fall asleep.
The stage show of Hercules in London. We loved the characters of Hercules, Meg and the Muses. Unfortunately the show was a little sloppy and relied on dad jokes and sloppy innuendo. You can see it could be awesome, but I donβt think Disney cares. Great merch!
The stage for the pantomime Sleeping Beauty.
We have never seen a British Pantomime. So we went to see Sleeping Beauty at the Paladium - it was so much fun. Catherine Tate and Julian Clary. So naughty! Huge production -but not for children. Highly recommend.
The stage for The Importance of Being Ernest
We have been in London to see shows! We saw the Importance of Being Ernest, a play I love, but the London Production was farcical. Algi and Jack hyperactively bouncing on the stage. Not subtle or clever. Also itβs Cecily -Sicily is in Italy. Stephen Fry was good as Lady Bracknell. We left.
Okay, the crowd going nuts like someone just scored a touchdown at the Super Bowl all *through* the KDH performance is a hell of a thing to see hear/see:
