Nice! I recently discovered that the old rusty I ride to work every day is from 1936 :P

I just think itβs a lot of trouble and the end result still can do less than a simple C for loop from 1972.
still sounds like an unnecesary step for something so simple. but then looking at the code for the plugin I'm trying to edit I can see that performance was never an option
so I'm construucting an array of numbers to iterate through it? this sound super slow
What the actual fuck Kotlin? Why? Whyyyy????
Me: Let's fix this one thing in a Jetbrains Plugin.

IntelliJ Idea for 25 minutes:
Canβt you enable drm in config?
Well, that was unexpected!
But maybe you can tell us whatβs going on at Mozilla? I thought it was a non-profit, so why the seemingly sudden push for profit?
Removal of the βwe wonβt sell your dataβ clause and more AI features every version release is raising a lot of red flags. Why do this?
Yeah my thought exactly. Only a matter of time before the choice is gone. Or "disable for 20 days".
Damn I can't even turn off bluetooth on my phone nowadays, there's jsut no option to do this. What have we come to?
does it work with FF extensions?
Is that one good?
Here's the difference:
Every file you delete does this. But in Firefox settings, there is only only one toggle that does this.
There is one thing I will never accept and that's a computer telling me what to do. Choice or not, this calculator on steroids must not talk back to me :P
The issue is that I hate everything about it :P
Firefox added an entire "AI Controls" menu, and the promised toggle to block all AI.
But when you click it, it shows this pop-up. It's the ONLY toggle in the entire settings that does this.
"You always have a choice" my ass.
This is AI propaganda by AI companies. They try to paint the technology as dangerous to give it more credibility. Dont humor them.
Even the first sentence is parroting corporate talking points and its AI companies listed above.
Thereβs actually a padlock inside because I was testing if I can lock the zippers with a padlock (I also wish they werenβt like this but you cannot find these any longer, I have no idea why is that a thing)
I started sewing so youβll have to look at stuff I make from time to time.
If anyone tells you to use GIMP instead of Photoshop, ask them how to upgrade to full version from GIMP (Not Responding) Edition
The entire sentence is even funnier it goes "I understand why your 50-person studio can't hire like Xbox does".
I think he misspelled "fire".
This is the "small studios" they're talking about btw
netscape navigator
I remember when Mozilla was so cool MC Hammer got their back.
Now they gonna go and disappoint MC Hammer and that's inexcusable.
They're doing this FOR US
As I was typing this I was wondering if I am misreading this but I guess not.
Just got this email from @mozilla.org saying they want to build their own AI and I haven't been this disappointed since they said they're gonna be selling Firefox user's private data.
the drivers are shit
