Child abuse is a big one with me. I went in knowing about it, and I'm usually okay. But this one is really heavy so I can't continue with it 💔😞 it's historical so there's a lot of racism in it also that was hard to read as well 💔💔
The things the mother does to her children... I am feeling so much rage. As someone who grew up in a home with abuse I just can't continue reading it. It's very well written, but so tragic and dark 💔

The only reason I hate letting FB go is the support groups I've found there. If it wasn't for the parosmia group I wouldn't have found out about using a swimming plug in my nose so I could eat. I'm hoping to find another support group. Who knows where I'd be if I hadn't found that group. Damn meta 👎🏻

If you like thrillers or suspense that are YA you might like it. It deals with a lot of prejudice and racism though so it's a very tough read for me. It's a Carrie retelling.
