Pynapple v0.10 is out with major changes. Unified tuning curve function now returns an xarray object, plus new flexible template-matching decoding. Join us at the Flatiron workshop this February to learn Pynapple and other tools for neural data analysis from @flatironinstitute.org.

Really excited to share this Opinion piece we've been working on with fellow head-direction cell geeks @apeyrache.bsky.social @desdemonafricker.bsky.social and (bsky-less?) Andrea Burgalossi! While head-direction cells pop up in many cortical regions, we think that one of them is quite unique (1/8)
Finally preprinted! TL;DR: thalamic head-direction neurons can shape their activity regardless of input. Big thanks to @apeyrache.bsky.social and master experimentalist @sskromne.bsky.social .

True but the projection from LMN to ADN is only forward. Feedback to LMN comes only from PSB. Quite a circuit ! π
Hi Konrad. Nice piece and I know this is not targeted to anatomist but "reciprocal connections between ADN and LMN" is likely incorrrect. If not, could you share the reference?
