I visited the Allam Medical Centre at Hull University to meet the Dean of HYMS and the Deputy Head of the School of Nursing and Midwifery. We discussed their work in achieving this ranking, the challenges facing the school and our need to train more NHS doctors to serve our area.

As part of the UK's biggest-ever knife surrender scheme, 37 new surrender bins will be placed in some of the highest risk areas to save young lives.
