We write our stories in the memories of the people we meet. Our legacy isn’t ours to decide, it’s carried in others by what we cause…good and bad. Live life on purpose. The little things matter.

Just have to say, being prevented from talking openly and critically about what’s going on (not here but other places) is frustrating AF. The erosion is real. Be well. Stay safe. Stay loud.
Got asked about Stephen Miller’s zero-sum mindset. Here’s the short version: he sees the world as fixed. Your gain is my loss, your rights threaten mine, your existence diminishes my existence. It’s scarcity thinking that justifies cruelty and keeps us fighting each other instead of looking up. Sigh
Like so many people, I am growing weary of people and systems that think power can only be expressed through the suppression of others. Decency is strength regulated by conscience. That, in my experience, requires more conviction and courage than being an ass.
Good only exists where we choose to put it. It doesn’t happen on its own and thinking good thoughts isn’t enough to make it real. Believing in things that are decent and good is important but, it is just the first step. Choosing to act in accordance with those values is when decency becomes real.
