How do we know that God's plan isn't to destroy the planet based on human choice? Even if it was at the snap of God's fingers to us wouldn't that still be hundreds to thousands of years to the God? Simply based on the fact their 6 days of creationism to science was hundreds of millions of years.
This is from a purely Judeo-Christian aspect, "The earth was created in 6 days and on the 7th day he rested." How long is a day for God? To us based on science we know it took hundreds of millions of years. So, when modern religious zealots say, "men can't destroy the planet due to climate change"
Is the modern education failure in the US purely based on the complete division between science and religion? I am not religious but can see the benefits to people in society that it can provide, however it does not have to be a black and white proposal.
