Announced my first ever IRL event this week and so far we received a lot of support from the people in my city and im very happy. I grew tired of the local dubstep going to zero so i took matters into my own hands and made my own event !
Hopefully it goes well and we have a bit of success !

Only a handful of people organize irl events in this space, and to all of them that do it alone, like @2td.io and myself, keep going, you got your vision and you wanna share it with the world, do it! Trust me you'll have way more people enjoying what youre doing than haters <3
Security, toilets, food, artists, setting up the stage (we did it ourselves) and thats also not counting all the people that helped us free of charge and we are super thankful to them
People gotta understand that you can be put under so much pressure you will say stuff that you regret, you will do dumb shit, thats just being a normal human being
And worst part : Irl people didnt give a shit, they saw a great event, they enjoyed the party, all the djs all the infrastructure that was there. They loved it, they saw the love and passion we had for the medium and for the people we evolved with
Yes 20000 euros, you read that right, thats what an event usually cost when you handle everything yourself
That one time we spent 20 racks on an IRL/VR event and half the vrc community shat on us for even bringing up the cost lmao people dont understand how hard, stressfull and intense it is when youre litterally putting so much on the line
(yes it was 2 years ago, yes we are still paying off the debt)
Just so you know, they are listening to what people have to say about the privacy policy. If they change things and listen to their community more, this could still be a very good option.

It’s called stoat
Or you can make steam groups which are actually juste like discord but built in steam

its probably servers that are not under the community servers tab in the app (which currently has 3 all moderated by the root team)
We will make the server better later lmao we got a general text and like 2 voice channels for now
