Not to mention the smell of those visually sterilized aisles containing the body parts of animals who died in terror. The stench is undeniably foul once one’s senses adjust to solely eating food that was grown, not born & killed. Especially the ‘seafood’ aisle. Disgusting.

Absolutely. It’s just imposing a hierarchy of care that falsely suggests that caring for nonhumans is hostile to caring for humans, when in actuality violence against humans & that towards animals is interdependent so caring for both is essential. People just impose the hierarchy to justify . . .

The argument that humans should only worry about human suffering is disingenuous at best. It’s really just a lame excuse. Anyone with the slightest bit of intelligence knows it’s not binary.

Veganism is the refusal to support a violent system that prioritizes profit over life and reduces individuals to products and commodities, a direct rejection of exploitation in all its forms.

Contrary to what many seem to believe, veganism is so much more than a diet. It’s about abstaining from intentionally causing or supporting harm to all sentient beings. There’s no valid moral argument against that goal. The only honest argument is taste, and a life is worth far more than that.

'Culture' is not a shield for cruelty and inflicting unnecessary suffering on the vulnerable.
