At first, I wasn't sure why people on BlueSky were demanding a profile picture, a legit bio, and posts to subscribe to an account. Let's just say that a month later, it has become VERY clear that it is necessary to filter and apply these rules!

I get the desire to follow back but I am constantly amazed at how many accounts that are clearly trolls, porn bots, fake GoFundme begging and others have really big accounts following them. Seriously...look at an account before blindly following back.
I don't know who needs to hear this, but you don't need to justify your reading preferences and choices to anyone. Audiobooks count as reading. Also, you don't have to finish books you don't enjoy. Don't read to impress, read for yourself. Life's too short, love yourself, ok?
