Okay, I'm doing this for real now: my prediction of what will/will not be included on the FFVII Rebirth Original Soundtrack Plus, releasing on April 1! I got lazy on providing justifications, but whatever. I've spent too much time on this already. Some notes and Ch. 1-2 to start.
Surprising no one who knows me, I keep missing tracks, so I'm going to wait until I have each chapter's sheet completed and then (re)post them all. Hopefully will be done tomorrow! 😅
Chapters 4-6. I don't know that I'll do any more tonight, but will hopefully cover a couple tomorrow.

Whoops. Ignore that Column A is titled "Track Title (English Localization)." All of the track titles for the unreleased music (anything not highlighted in blue) are titles I made up and are not official in any capacity.
Blue: already released
Dark green: confident it will be on the Rebirth OST Plus
Light green: may be on the Rebirth OST Plus, but with caveats
Orange: will not be on the Rebirth OST Plus
I did my best to keep things concise and explain my reasons in the "Comments" column.
Also, I averaged out how many tracks per disc each Remake/Rebirth soundtrack has and also looked at the lengths of the BGM files for the tracks I selected. Five discs = 400 minutes of music, and the average came out to ~142 tracks for five discs. NOW onto Chapter 1...
My predictions are based off a combination of what choices I would make, trying to account for big story beats, tracks that are just too good to pass on (again!), and lastly, a few that are wishful thinking. I'll break down what the color coding means, and then we'll start!
Some people in my Discord server expressed interest in hearing a more thorough breakdown of what I think will/will not be included on the Rebirth OST Plus. This will be ongoing for the next few days, and I'll be basing references off my (incomplete) Rebirth track list.
I've got bad news for anyone who thinks the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Original Soundtrack Plus is going to cover *everything* that hasn't been released yet...

This is a great interview. I cannot wait to finish streaming this mod (I know it's been forever...house issues!) and hopefully not stumble across anymore terrible music glitches. (There are several in the PC port, and I semi-pestered Ody to fix them.)

The studio recording of this arrangement is about half the length and appears as a jukebox theme in Remake. The live version was recorded in February 2020. This was the longest piece performed that night by a few minutes. The album released in October 2020.
Clocking in at a staggering twelve minutes and twenty-five seconds, the longest arrangement of "Tifa's Theme" (that I'm aware of, and that is officially licensed/released by Square) comes from the Square Enix Jazz -Final Fantasy VII- at Billboard Live TOKYO album!
Rebirth has a couple that compete with "Seventh Heaven" for me.
Sadly, it's been almost completely ignored by Distant Worlds, outside of the Remake Orchestra World Tour. 😭😭😭
