I'm in the UK, my rights and prosperity were fucked up by ignorant racists who got duped by a bunch of well-known liars, despite tonnes of evidence they were being lied to and the fallout would be disastrous.

You can't fix stupid but charlatans shouldn't be allowed to weaponize it to harm us all.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD…

Can we STOP with this β€˜special relationship’ BS

And also…can we wake up to the treachery of our right wing press?!

Seems appropriate to plug this here.

If they see trans women as men that's very much a them problem, for which they should seek help.

Get bigots out of our faces!

It can be used as an adjective, as in "a passing thought".

Grammar is much more fluid than your teachers would have you believe.

oh cool, we're at the "I have this knot of anxiety in my chest which I can't do anything about because it's entirely due to the overall geopolitical situation" stage again, nice, happy Monday everyone

This is not to belittle anyone on HRT. Menopause is awful, after 4 years of symptoms, I'm praying it's nearly over. I chose not to do HRT but I could've had it at any time, without having to fight for it, go abroad or go private. It's not a political issue but trans care is. Why? Because of bigotry.

09.03.2026 08:58 πŸ‘ 5 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

It makes no sense that I'm allowed to have HRT to deal with the difficult but bearable and temporary symptoms of menopause but teens aren't allowed hormones to deal with the unbearable, potentially lifelong and life limiting symptoms of dysphoria.

The blatant inequality is a stain on our society.

The NHS has now stopped all medication - puberty blockers and hormones - for trans minors. For most, unless they get drugs from other sources, this means a lifetime, in an increasingly violent and transphobic society, unable to pass. Under Wes Streeting NHS policy is harm and death for trans people.

Starmer’s position is entirely consistent with what he wrote about Iraq in 2003, a fact of enormous inconvenience to just about everybody currently criticising it. Happily for them, just like the entire bloody Chilcot Inquiry it is apparently very easy to ignore.

I’m Keir for you: The PM is visiting a community center in London to discuss the impact. Expect a pooled interview with broadcasters mid-morning. There’s one quote on rising bills in his words trailed overnight that warrants chasing up: β€œI will always be guided by what is best for the British public. And no matter the headwinds, supporting working people and their families with the cost of living is always top of my mind.”

I mean, this just isn't true, is it? If Starmer was focused on the cost of living crisis he wouldn't insist on no customs union and no single market? Nor would he embrace the negative economic consequences of his anti-migrant policy?

Like everything else about Starmer, this is empty rhetoric.

Johnson seems to have conveniently forgotten about the impact of HIS Brexit.

So they've been captured by Morgan McSweeney and Labour Together. Time for the real Labour Party to stand up and speak out.

08.03.2026 20:17 πŸ‘ 5 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

We need to follow the money to find out who it is that's captured our government because this goes against traditional Labour values.

Tomorrow Wes Streeting will remove trans minors ability to access, and doctors to prescribe, cross-sex hormones.

Try as it might Labour will never eradicate trans people. They cannot, and should not, change who they are. All Labour will do is make trans lives harder - with more harm and more death.

It's to remind us all that Reform are patriots. They may have wilfully fucked over the country with Brexit, despite clear warnings of what would happen, in order to further their own grifts... but they're patriots godamn it!

Those people who wrecked the UK, swearing it was necessary to "take back control", now want to cede control to a proven criminal who has started an illegal war without a plan. They claim to be patriots but they're clearly charlatans who like to shaft the UK for their own personal gain.

That's because the billionaires funding the government party always make a fortune out of war. It's probably one of the easiest ways to transfer public funds to private individuals without too many awkward questions being asked.

Musk and Thiel will both win big from Trump's wars.

I thought I disliked onion bhajis. They were always too greasy and cloying and just not tasty enough to warrant the calories.

Then my local takeaway slipped a couple in as a freebie. Oh My God! They were unbelievably good. I'm now converted - but only for their good stuff.

I'd argue that you haven't had decent ones.

There are certain foods I thought I disliked but it turned out I'd been given rubbish instead of the real deal. It's a game changer when you find out.

Good fish and chips should not be greasy. They should be light and tasty.

It's what you get when you knowingly allow a known criminal to not only evade justice but be allowed to stand for the highest office in the land... and the most powerful position in the world.

Trump should be serving time for all the crimes he's committed. Everybody knows that. It's on you America.

It should have people charged with Misconduct in Public Office and locked up.

To put corruption above saving lives, during a national emergency, is an act of gross betrayal akin to treason. It HAS to be a crime, surely!
