Chlorine dioxide is an industrial bleach for lumber and freaks like RFK give autistic kids enemas with it. Kids die from the practice. These people just want autistic kids dead.
Just beat the re4 remake. So ready for new game plus.
i'll be revising the entire story of the final part of my project. im going to sit down, and actually plan and think.
laika: aged through blood reminds me what i'm fighting for.
Praising ai because it maybe fucks over a few, bootstrap licking, thieving artists is like cheering on nuclear Armageddon because it will technically end capitalism and kill every billionaire.
I hate to break it to you, but having an artistic soul or subversive fetish won't save you from falling to reactionary politics !
Mock capital g gamers all you wish, you aren't immune to being a sellout danger to the community!
We need to condemn capital A artists and capital K kinksters

So yes, its ok and normal to want more than 10 people to care about your work, but many popular artists, successful non-artists are living examples of when success becomes a detriment. (wouldn't call lexxy a scammer, but a person who acheived success they weren't ready for. youtu.be/Y1sLbvimp4U?...
Also, artists have been brainwashed to thinking the only way for people to care about their work is to sell their souls to exploitative companies. "Start a studio, become a temporarily embarrassed vivziepop or no one cares." Don't tie Popularity to self worth.
A bad thing i see in art spaces has been a rise of reactionary, "fuck you got mine" mentality and ladder kicking behavior. Hiveworks is exihbit A. This needs to be called out.
However, if you draw only to be popular, you will drive yourself insane.
As someone who is entering an art hermit phase drawing for myself, it's actually ok to want attention for your art.
There are people who tout "draw for yourself" because they already made it or may want to kill the competition in the crib
If the bluesky userbase doesn't get the site wiped out via a fiasco adjacent to the 2018 tumblr porn ban, the admins will do it themslves
In my art hermit arc, I'm hitting the brakes to actually plan the final part of my story.
Even though I have my gripes with the art community, the biggest threat has always been systems which brainwash people that their self worth is derived from popularity. That the only way for people to give a shit about your work is to mutate into a walt disney clone.
My take on "draw for yourself" is "disconnect yourself from the social media art space, it is tailor made to drive up despair, FOMO and distract you from drawing."
Some of my ocs have proportions that have been all over the place, and my art hermit arc is going to rectify that.
Still thinking about how randy stair malnourishing himself and not treating his insomnia absolutely put holes in his brain to make him do that shit.

i was drawing akropolis today, and a coworker wanted to see the rest of my drawing of her.
little things remind me of my art having worth outside of social media presence.
youtu.be/Wl-I6Xoaur4 in the debate between big vs small artists, I think the major problem is a capitalist, exploitative system that demands people's blood and souls to power it and a social media algorithm which encourages FOMO and self worth determine by likes.
i bought is manga opus, and its polish and paneling is phenomenal. he was gone too early
Artists have been conditioned that selling rights to your work to soulless businesses is the only way to make your dream real.
