Hi #portfolioday, I'm Kim, an illustrator based in Brooklyn! Somehow I feel like I don't draw enough plants...

2 risograph prints. one is a collection of images: a molted cicada shell and a bundle of plant stalks trailing off into tendrils & tied by a yellow ribbon over panels of train tracks surrounded by grass & trees under a reddish sky; the dark entrance to a tunnel; a shadowy crowd. the other shows foliage hangs around a looming cave mouth—total darkness hides whatever may be inside. in a small panel above, slashes of red spill out into swirls of teal & ochre.
