There indeed is so much to fight for, and in some countries (looking at you, US), some old fights have become new fights.

One thing (academic) men can do is not participate in manels! It can be uncomfortable at times but it is also still necessary. Here’s my experience: 🧡

I see the Six Nations has taken a look at UK politics and decided it would also like a multitude of possible winners, with a series of run-off results that don’t necessarily make sense in totality.

I once again may have overestimated my capacity to read things when raiding the library shelves.

I cannot emphasise enough how true this is. Two weeks of shouting "6 7" at my kids seemed to chase that particular phenomenon out of our lives

Pausing reading about girls' socialisation through My Little Pony to watch Hollie Davidson become the first woman to referee a men's 6 Nations game. My rugby-heavy childhood feels very seen right now.

"Lost milk?": Counting the economic value of breast milk in gross domestic product - PubMed The potential loss of economic value from not protecting women's lactation and milk production from competing market pressures is large. Failure to account for mothers' milk production in GDP and other economic data has important consequences for public policy. The invisibility of human milk reduces …

Westminster, if you could just... not... for the next hour or so and let us just watch the curling in peace, that would be lovely. Thanks.

He agreed to do a video for my 7 year old daughter holding her teddy at Labour Party Conference last year, so she'll be rather pleased if he now becomes Prime Minister.

An update: one of the other players got fired from her job.

Son, as mayor, offered her some jobs to help keep the game running (mostly delivering post).

He then promptly raised taxes to cover her wages.

Amazing story in The Times. Reform UK failed to pay VAT to HMRC on its sales (tickets, merchandise). About Β£400k in all.

Not tax avoidance. Not tax evasion. They just didn't realise when you sell stuff you have to charge VAT.

First day of school holidays. The kids have invented a complicated game involving jobs, shopping, a postal service and apparently fiscal policy.

My son is currently running around shouting "Twenty minutes until taxes! We need to pay for things!"

Strong early preparation for next month's budget.

It also appears to have been written by someone who has never had to juggle a full time job with having children which occasionally necessitates having to deal with calls and emails during family time.

I do not buy things without pockets now. Even my wedding dress had pockets. Boden quite good for be-pocketed things. And also Joanie and Albaray.

I have quite a similar looking navy one from Boden from a few years ago. Cotton and with pockets and it is everything I have ever wanted from a skirt.
