Agree 100%! I love the trades as an option for a career but it’s can’t be in opposition to an education. It’s be great if young adults could access a core set of basic college level courses like economics and finance as part of their trade program.

Just heard I lost a cousin today. My uncle (her father) has lost a grandbaby, a wife and now a daughter (the baby’s mother) in just over a year. I just can’t imagine…

I have a friend of Asian descent who has had similar experiences. As a cis white woman, my heart hurts for her. All I can say is, you’re right. As a rule, we suck. Progress just seems so embarrassingly slow.
