Really enjoyed STAR TREK: KHAN & had a blast talking about it on the pod. Also great to chat with Tim Russ (Tuvok) once again!
STAR TREK: KHAN was such a welcome surprise, telling a compelling story with thematically rich ideas that challenged notions of clear-cut heroes and villains. It cuts straight to the heart of the phrase, "history is written by the victors."
Really excited to finally do a deep dive into STAR TREK: KHAN - one of the most interesting pieces of Trek media of 2025.
Joining us for a bonus interview this episode is Tim Russ, who reprised his role as Ensign Tuvok for the show's framing story!
It's a strong probability (IMHO) that after the remainder of Strange New Worlds and Starfleet Academy S2 air, we're not going to see new Star Trek again for a while. I'd rather not see new Trek if it's going to fall under David Ellison's directive to make things that "appeal to middle America."
