Managed to move over to a finite state machine for my prototype thanks to @adamcyounis.bsky.social's video which you can find here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jkT....
Now the project is so much more flexible and manageable.

It seems like those ding dongs I was talking about are preparing some sort of attack!

Got my army of impending ding dongs moving towards the player unit.
I love the stage where a Unity project is all capsules and default button sprites.

Pixel art design iteration process of gameboy inspired game cartridges
Close ups of 4 colour alternatives of the cartridges
Here are some sprites from an upcoming project I'm working on for my final project at uni.
They're the templates for the abilities that your units can choose from after completing a battle. Heavily inspired by the Y2K blobject translucent coloured plastic that was on everything at the time.

What is the workflow of other pixel artists like when they're wanting to post a bunch of stuff from a big project?
I have about 20-30 sprites I'd like to put on Bluesky as a post but I've never done that before and it seems a bit awkward to do.
I want to export a bunch from Aseprite.

I wouldn't have even thought of that. That'd be super cool.

Oh sorry. It's a D&D podcast. There's a series of episodes set in a science lab and it's about things being crystalized. Tardigrades also show up so I thought you were blending the two together.

Brilliant! Thanks for the reply. Really appreciate it. You've inspired me to do the same series. I finished bulbasaur yesterday, although I'll likely go back and change the colours after looking at your stuff again. Very new to pixel art in general so plenty to learn.

Wow, this one is super cool. I was wondering what your method for picking colours is for this series? Also, what are the dimensions for each grid cell?

Isometric pixel art version of Palett Town from Pokémon using a 4 colour palette.
First piece of pixel art for the year, and first attempt at isometric. Used a lot of the techniques mentioned in Brandon James Greer's videos (www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxjX...) to do an isometric 4 colour palette rendition of Palett Town.
