Marine Corps Veteran here. This is bullshit. Nazi tattoos will get you kicked out.
This is my actual objection. Our entire jobs have been transformed overnight into entirely different jobs, of far less social worth, and with zero relationship to the reason most of us got into them in the first place. All we want to do is contribute and AI billionaires are like HAHA NOPE.
haha great, what the avengers fuck is the rest of that shit

Reminder: bioRxiv's "no reviews/hypotheses" policy is something we had from the outset, because it would require subjective judgments akin to peer review (and rapid dissemination seemed less critical for this type of article). The ease of generating these with LLMs make me glad we have it. 2/n

This bill just passed Oregon’s House & heads to the governor’s desk. Congrats to @senkhanhpham.bsky.social & team for shepherding a bipartisan housing reform that many people said could never happen. 🤩🏢

I haven’t played COD in a long time, and it’s politics have never been great. But I really hope that COD’s devs and designers can speak out forcefully on this shit. I know they won’t, but it’s truly a disgusting use of one’s work
@patblanchfield.bsky.social. vindication of your thesis of COD series over and over and over. Hate to see it.
It’s bizarre to me seeing takes like Black Texans are the weak link here…who do they think they are? Like, be serious.
The slop PRs or something else?
The basic observation isn’t wrong, but Talarico isn’t losing the Black vote. The greater risk is if folks stay home, but that’s not on Talarico. There’s little chance Cornyn pulls any significant Black support. Of course, he could say something hella racist or cozy up to racists, but that’s diff
God bless Walz for this. Just the perfect mix of contempt and dismissiveness for this broken person.
I felt a great disturbance in the Force. As if millions of big armed auntie voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.
This is the exact same Guy you could find 2,000 years ago as a Roman senator gleefully listing the number of Germani slain and sold into slavery, 900 years ago exulting in the sack of Jerusalem, or 100 years ago celebrating 500 yards taken on the Western Front. Timeless chickenhawk scum.
You know I agree. It’s still impressive that you called it so clearly and, frankly, that it didn’t take long at all for it to start to show. Especially from a dude like Newsom who seems like there isn’t a reactionary take he actually disagrees with
I get asked to show up to book clubs, online and offline. Here is why from now on the answer is always "no." If you think this might have something to do with "AI" ruining yet another thing for everyone, you're absolutely 100% correct.

look like, but I am legitimately curious as to what such a model would even look like. And is it even possible to develop LLMs without such biases given the fact that they’re trained the racist, sexist, queerphobic world we live in?
I know folks think that result is obvious or inevitable, but it is legitimately disturbing if one cannot train sophisticated models to not be transparently discriminatory. It requires a new kind of model development approach, I reckon. I’m no computer scientist so I don’t know what that could
