My plan for today (my day off): little walk in the sunshine, then carry on my knitting project.
what I actually did: dismantled and disposed of 2 wardrobes (one double), helped daughter rearrange her furniture, stacked all the scrap wood up neatly and hoovered after.

I've got one or two bits from places that do free returns. At least I don't have to try it on in a public place!

Oooh I dont even know where there is a Marks now. I went to a shopping centre today but it was all primark, new look, H&M etc. Very cool 90s teen gear but no grown up clothes. So i went to the big asda instead but they were all a little too grown up.
I tend to live in comfy leggings and oversized hoodies but I have a few places to go lined up where i need to resemble a reasonably respectable adult, and everything I try feels like a costume
I've seen some nice things online but I'm never sure what size I am, and I'm funny about the feel of some fabrics so prefer to be able to touch stuff. I'll have to see what places do free returns i guess
The choices were all either tiny cropped tops with "90s" written on them, or neck to floor sacks. I dunno what I want but I lnow it's not that.
Where do my ladies over 40 do their clothes shopping? Because it can't be in any of the places I went today.

Spent much of today cleaning out cupboards and rearranging my kitchen. Think I needed to feel in control of something, and junk drawers and cluttered cupboards are something I can create order out of where once there was chaos
