Huh, a person in a Temu ad looked a little too shiny to me so I wondered if they were GenAI. A couple seconds later there's "washing machine" as a search on it, but then I noticed right above that search was also "genai washing machine." Immediate confirmation it's a full GenAI ad.

I guess good news? I got an MRI on my brain yesterday, and I've got a begign growth on my pituitary that affects 1/10th to 1/6th of the general population. Otherwise, nothing interesting, so it's more likely that my inner ear is solely what's causing my vertigo.

Twitch is requiring new Affiliates, before their first payment, to give government photo ID and a separate photo to Persona, the same Persona that has connections to government mass surveillance programs. When I asked Twitch support for another option, they said there isn't one. #twitch #persona 1/4

First thought with this: OpenRCT2. Last I heard (which admittedly has been a while) they've been wanting a way to get more vehicle angles while retaining the originals, and even if the originals don't work out this would make vehicle creation so much easier.

Most games I've seen that mechanic in call it "leech" since the in universe justification is you're either leeching it from the enemy or you're leeching it from the environment in some way through that action. I could see "recoup" or "absorb" also working in that context.

#FuckAI I work at a grocery store, and a coworker had picked up a call where the caller had said we should order something for an upcoming promotion. He didn't know how to order stuff, so I picked it up, and barely two sentences in I knew it was an AI. I suppressed my urge to violently swear 1/x
