it's always fun when i see a soushin fic that's very thematically similar to mine and then i check and the writer has bookmarked my fics. puts a little smile on my face. hell yeah i'm influential in very specific ways

i think part of it is it's such a focused experience--all it has are puzzles and glad0s's dialogue, so they polished those to a mirror shine. instead of a 30-hour game with 2 perfect hours and 28 pretty good hours it's just the 2 perfect hours. frankly it's a lot easier to reach perfection that way
