I tried to give it a fair shake, but I think Marathon is definitely not for me.

I don't think either method makes you a good or bad writer, though. I think it ultimately comes down to style and taste.

I think showing just makes it feel more natural. Unless it's information someone doesn't know. I think showing AND telling in concert is great, tho. Like Obi-Wan telling Luke what the Force is, then having him experience it by wearing the blinder during lightsaber training.

I've noticed a lot of pants just cling to each individual cheek like they're painted on.
