Besides installations and workshops, our Imaging and Optics Facility team at @istaresearch.bsky.social is involved in the greaduate school teaching program: ‘all hand on deck’ this week(s) to teach the new cohort of student the “ins-and-outs” of Imaging.

In Part-II, was focused on evaluating the @quarep-limi.bsky.social detector protocol by a demonstration by Yann from our facility team.
-> It was great that we had an audience of experts from different imaging facilities the Vienna area as a collective brain-hive! #microscopycommunity 🔬

We hosted a camera performance workshop today @istaresearch.bsky.social.

In Part-I, where Ando Zehrer from Teledyne Photometrics provided a seminar, followed by a demonstration of their performance monitoring procedures.

We are now very much looking forward for the inaugural workshop where we get to dive deep in all the modalities. 🔬🍩🪄

We are delighted and very satisfied with a extremely smooth installation of the @abberior.rocks Mirava Polyscope, by 2 fantastic engineers. Our new ‘imaging soldier’ is equipped with 2- and 3D STED, MINDLUX, adaptive optics, lifetime imaging, matrix detectors and options for spectral imaging.

The seminar provides the perfect starting point for researchers that start with #STED, #MINFLUX applications with various staining strategies #blinking #DNApaint 🧫+l🧬🎨 -> 🔬

Dawid Lbik from @abberior provided an excellent seminar today about ‘Novel Staining Strategies for Advanced Imaging Applications’ at @istaresearch.bsky.social - going through concepts and consideration for high-resultion imaging.
