Oh perhaps you’ve misunderstood my position. I’m not shifting blame from Levy. Levy is the chief architect of the incoming relegation. Every bad decision came from him, Vinai’s hiring included.
All on Vinai? No. But not buying players in January was ultimately on his watch as the CEO and that’s going to be a significant part of why we’re likely finished as a PL club.

I don’t follow. While it’s true that issues run deep, it’s also true that a team in an injury crisis that has to play a 19 y.o. at a new position weekly should’ve bought players that could help it win games, alleviating the risk of being in the drop zone by Sunday. It’s literally what west ham did!

As far as Gallagher’s concerned: I’ve seen enough. He’s not misused, he’s washed. Sarr is more effective.

That may be true but the lack of ROI for the money spent isn’t the ownership’s issue, it’s Levy’s. He had no clue what players to sign and what players to avoid. We could’ve done much better for the 700M spent.

The counterpoint is that the squad construction is poor and has been for years and that’s on Levy. So even if Tudor had been brought on in November, the structural issue of being unable to play through the middle, not having a proper backup LB, etc. would remain.
