If you're a fan of musicals, you might enjoy "Blue Moon" a rather melancholic but somtimes fun movie about Lorenz Hart on the day that "Oklahoma!" premiered. Directed by Richard Linklater and starring Ethan Hawke in a bravura performance. It probably won't be what you're expecting.

Why would I want a ReBoot that wasn't OBSESSED with Hexadecimal?

I wish I had a clearer sense of what the programming folks were thinking. I'd like to think there were good reasons for this outcome, but I'm struggling.

Writers' Slam withdrawn for this year's FCL. When the only choices are 11:30pm on Saturday night or partly in conflict with the fursuit parade, that doesn't feel like much of a choice, and I didn't exactly have anyone telling me how much they were looking forward to attending in any case.

Eleven hours of sleep was nice, especially for an unfamiliar environment. I didn't anticipate sleeping for that long, but I'm not that surprised after I wreaked bloody murder upon my sleep schedule the night before.

I am stupidly excited to just get a normal night's sleep. I've been out of it to the point of crashing out a few times today.

I heard a rumor to that effect.

Hm. The two NSFW chats that I knew had been deactivated have now been restored.

I hate that I'm awake right now (it's 4am for me), but I'm glad I'm awake right now.

There's definitely something going on with Telegram and at least public-facing NSFW channels going dark. If you have one of those and you care at all about the idea of it getting nuked, I recommend setting it private ASAP.

At FurPoc, a larger con, I booked a large room anticipating roommates and didn't have anyone.

At FCL, a much smaller con, I booked a smaller room (because getting a larger room wasn't available for this con) and ended up with a full room.

There's no logic to it...
