I’m trying to ready Crazy Rich Asians (never seen the movie) and … I kind of hate it. It’s slow paced & full of lists of extremely expensive things (apparently). I don’t see it getting more enjoyable for me. But I could be convinced. People who liked this book, what is the appeal to you?

My least popular (and most correct) view is that cars should be automatically limited to the local speed limit. Put the pedal to the floor and you still can't go over 25mph in a residential area.

My teenage daughter just had a seizure. She’s had a lifetime of them but rarely at this time of the evening. She got up to find me, pasted herself to my side and promptly fell into a deep sleep. It’s an absolute honor, this whole being her safe place thing.
