saihara holds ouma in a sort-of-bridal carry, one hand supporting his legs and the other clutching ouma's supreme leader's cap, from which rainbow confetti and streamers pop out. the pair are surrounded by their favorite gifts from the mono-mono machine and the purple swirl of ouma's cloak, clutched in ouma's left hand; his other arm, draped over saihara's shoulder, playfully doffs saihara's baseball hat.

ouma sits perched in saihara's lap, arms looped around his neck, shirtless except for saihara's uniform jacket which dwarfs him; saihara's arms are loosely wrapped around ouma's waist, his wrists bound with a familiar checkered scarf. saihara's face is hidden as he leans forward to mouth at ouma's exposed neck.

a tearful saihara reaches up and through the open portal of a huge funeral frame; above him, ouma avoids his grasp but presses a letter that isn't a will to saihara's chest, his grinning expression partially obscured by the neon pink checkmark seen on his death portrait. beyond the frame lies an infinite expanse of night.

saihara stands with eyes closed and arms crossed, washed out in bright light; the color of his hair and uniform and skin is seen only in ouma's shadow, who curls his arms over saihara's shoulders form behind--one hand bracing saihara's shoulder and the other cupping his cheek, protective and possessive, as white wings envelope them both.

This is def one of my most faves of ur artworks, u had no idea how much I scream when I saw this😭💙💜 u’re the best celee! All the details, the brilliant concept, the color, the background, and the characters, esp saiou, made me in tears- u outdid urself! I love this sm thank you for this masterpiece✨

Shuichi Saihara and Kokichi Ouma dance together, hands clasped, on stage in a theater. In the seats facing the stage sit the post, pre and in-game versions of all the Danganronpa v3 characters, with most of them being in slight shadow other than the other versions of Shuichi and Kokichi. The work is framed with film strips showing different small moments in the game alongside imagined past and future events.
