Dear @rogerclark41.bsky.social, re: the expensive drink mentioned in today's Mornings on 1... a standard serving of Louis XIII can be anywhere between $100-$300. While it seems odd they are offering this drink option, I find it more surprising the Disney price stays within the standard range.
I believe both avenues are valuable, and neither cancels the other out. While I understand holding on to some work until it's gone through a traditional publishing process, I believe self publishing is a powerful and useful tool, to reach an audience without gatekeepers, but to also open said gates.
