It's a greataxe, you'd think its name is "Render," as in it tears/cuts, but add a title.
The actual name is just verb and object, it renders the fat of the false.
The Undjot name directly translates to "I cook the liar."

The barbarian in my campaign doesn't have a magic weapon to fight werewolves, so I made them a custom one!

Pretty much! They grow mostly on coastal volcanoes and storm-wracked mountains (areas of high flux in the Aetherial Sea), so that'll do it.

The very short answer is that it's where magic is. To cast magic, you use a muscle and let magic from the Aetherial Sea flow through you.
There is a longer answer, but the gist is that going "deeper" into it brings you to different, increasingly more alien and chaotic spaces with more magic.
I'm still redrawing the old ideas that I liked, so here's the second drawing I did, the Breakberry: a shrub with roots that extend into the break of the Aetherial Sea.
Though bitter, prepared properly, they allow the imbiber to sink into the Aetherial Sea.
