Mother & grandmother who believes our country and this world are worth saving! I want my great grandchildren to know what our democracy and freedoms are, and I want them to enjoy a world that is taken care of, instead of polluted and ruined.
Sometimes life just plain gets in the way of the life I want! That life includes doing everything I can to stop Trump. There are still people out there who cannot see or believe that Trump is setting up to take over our nation as dictator, but they are only fooling themselves. TRUMP MUST BE STOPPED!
Love it that in Quartzite, AZ, population 2,400 (not including seasonal snowbirds), some true blues protested again Saturday. Quartzite's very red, even has a MAGA RV Park. Brave, wonderful people! Quartzite's near me & I would love to connect with these folks!

The protest yesterday in Phoenix at the state capitol was amazing. Haven't found any estimates on attendance, but there were a lot of people there. We were definitely seen & heard. Met with a lot of great people, including the lady with the sign and a Trump doll being dragged out of the Whitehouse!
No,this event is beginning much earlier -- at 9 am. I'm guessing it begins earlier because of the heat. It will start with speakers & testimonials, followed by the march & ending at noon. Hope you can make it thid protest or another location. You can check out other locations on the 50501 website.
Don't forget to write your POSTCARDS TO THE HERITAGE FOUNDATION and mail them tomorrow, April 18th. The Heritage Foundation is the group that wrote Project 25, and it is time that we begin to hold the Foundation accountable. Write up some postcards and let's tell them what we think! PLEASE REPOST!
There are a lot of Day of Action protests throughout Arizona on this Saturday, April 19th. You can look up locations on the 50501 website. I'll be at the one in Phoenix at the state capitol in the Wesley Bolin Plaza. Hope to meet you there. Organizers are hoping for 15 million protesters nationwide!

The posts about us old geezers at the Tesla protest were made weeks ago -- before the Take Down Tesla / Musk protests were attracting so many attendees. If there is someone at the Tesla Glendale AZ protest today, March 29th, who can post info on what's happening today, it would be much appreciated.

TRUMP WANTS TO BE DICTATOR. He is doing everything he can to achieve that. Protests MUST be peaceful -- no violence, vandalism, or fights. Don't give him an excuse to declare martial law, because at the first opportunity, he will do exactly that. Count on it. Do everything you can to keep the peace.
At the NO MONARCHY / NO OLIGARCHY protest, I also attended press conference by Dem reps asking Gov Hobbs to veto AZ SB 1164. Bill requires police hold suspects with immigration detainers & prohibits policies obstructing federal immigration policies. Tell Hobbs to veto: azgovernor.gov/office-arizo...
Take aways for other newbie protest organizers:
1) Weekday protests less attended than weekends;
2) Protest time no more than 2 hrs;
3) Send messages to attendees at least 3 days in advance;
4) Short, single topic messages using bullet points for info;
5) Clear instructions on meet up location.
