Woman wearing a beanie is surrounded by a sheep and an alpaca as she feeds them carrot sticks
That time I was mugged by a sheep and an alpaca for carrot sticks.
β οΈ Pontypridd has been hit by devastating floods and our wonderful independent bookshop, Storyville Books, has seen much of its stock destroyed.
If youβre able to buy a book from them, this would go such a long way to help support them rebuild in the aftermath.

Not for this crafter! Although I am getting better with my advancing years and it tends to be less than 5 on the go at any given time now. π
Thanks for the update! Followed him today, he followed me back & when he started chatting I had a hunch it was sus. Have now blocked him.
Post you from a different era:
Gritters in Scotland
They really don't take long at all and if you spray them with starch before you block them they hold their shape better.
That time I tried knitted bookmarks! My daughter's friends loved them π π§Ά
I also need more suggestions for my Knitting Community Starter Pack! go.bsky.app/4ZYeRCW
I'm a knitter first and foremost, so I want to include peeps who are also predominantly knitters or knitting designers.
My #cats πΊ generally just tolerate each other aside from the odd swatting contest, but every so often they fall asleep in close proximity and I turn to mush.π«
Thank you! Hi π
Hello BlueSky!
I thought I should introduce myself.
I'm Shirley, a retired Medical Secretary, married with a grown up daughter and 2 house cats.
Hobbies: knitting π§Ά, crochet π§Ά and cross stitch π§΅
Books: I love crime fiction, especially tartan noir
TV: Supernatural, Silent Witness, crime drama
Throwback to when I sold cross stitched cards. Sadly, the market for handmade goods isn't all that lucrative or worth the time that goes in to making these items.
