I've just built a passive solar home. It's ICF right to the roof which is steel. No basement, in-floor heating, slab on grade. I did put solar PV on it and a 20kWh battery back-up. It's my design and I'm happy to share.

And my electric car has enough power to run my house for 3 days in winter.
