Robinson was the Admiral, Wemby is now the Aircraft Carrier. Targeting systems are operational
Watching that game, UIC felt like a team with better individual athletes, but UNI worked as a unit and had an answer for everything.
Panthers would be legitimately dangerous as a 12, unless the 5 was under-seeded.

The treatment of actual war with the detachment of a pre-teen playing Call of Duty. Even the archdiocese is condemning these freaks as inhumane / inhuman
It comes out as a perfect sphere, radiating with midichlorians.
Even worse, they're 2-8 in their last 10 games, a team on the decline. I understand rewarding a team that's been top 10 hot to end the season, but Auburn has none of the things you want in a resume
It's almost a guarantee at this point that one of the at-large teams in the first four will have an objectively worse resume than at least 10 teams watching from home.
Committee of inherent bias does what it does
What's worse: parents who dodge parenting, or companies that encourage them to?
Cincinnati Bearcat basketball scholarship holder Sandy Koufax โค๏ธ๐ค
One of just a few teams whose blind resume I can pick out correctly with regularity
100% aligned. And the current play-ins almost always feature at least one power conference team who had a worse resume than 10+ excluded teams. Retract!

I believe Cincinnati would've needed to win the Big XII tournament regardless of the outcome with TCU. 14 losses and a sub-200 loss (to #240 EMU) is a recipe for exclusion, and this committee has excluded better UC teams.
Should theoretically hold up in any scenario - play the Blind Resume game to see how the NET loves creating outliers!
Lit like every college and high school basketball arena through all of my childhood. The stands were always dark like you were at a theatrical production
Sighted-sound cues are some of my favorite accessibility methods. Adding sound cues like this to video games that require aiming (or other precision timing events) should honestly be standard by now.
Our favorite Gen X rebels all land squarely at the top of the pyramid schemes
Val-halla is such a good cozy game. And great narrative world-building for such a simple setting and mechanic. Very glad I stumbled into it by chance a couple years ago.
Successful matches used to be the point.
Now keeping a user on the platform as much as possible to raise engagement numbers for stake/shareholders is the point. Sigh.
Having worked on design of long-ago iterations of Match and OK Cupid, it's somewhat validating as an experience designer that things have gotten worse in my absence.
But not as much as it makes me angry at how much users have been commodified since.
Imagining if a young teenage me would've had a slow pitch hero like this on TV in the 90s
Pulling up like the Kottonmouth Kings
A picture from the Sedlec Ossuary in Czechia, a chapel constructed/decorated with the bones of an estimated 40,000 deceased. One of the most insane and breathtaking places I've ever visited.
After that strikeout I'm calling him the Sedlec Splitter
As a Cubs fan that spent a long time in NYC and only occasionally went to games, it's super weird to have attended both Mets no-hitters in person.
I'm really looking forward to watching people play (dad of toddler energy levels have me sidelined from getting it just yet)
Playing the original on Mac back in the 90s is seared into my memory / made me a forever Bungie fan
The most wonderful ad time of the year.
UWG learning week! (Building out a blind resume game introduced me to their logo just days ago)
Name changes and boilerplate legal that all character likenesses are unintended and purely coincidental, ready to roll. Dick Wolf "Ripped from the Headlines" style.
