ah, in my case, when i checked on DANA (yes, one of steam wallet payment option here), the money really sent in. and he was really active by repeatedly phone called me so i took it in serious matter.
and a few years later, or more like few weeks ago from today, i just found out that if we keep the amount, someone from loan app would find you and ask to return the money with, ofc, a big ass interest. so is a scam. but idk abt my own case though. maybe his friend literally was mistaken.
back in my collage days, there was a certain number contacted me that his friend accidently sent money to my number instead of his own. and he said "pls just send me [less than the amount it was sent to me] rupiahs. you can keep the rest" but hell nah i decided to sent him back in full amount
