The glory of iOS 26: attempting to edit a photo in the Photos app and I was given this *tiny* image to adjust; then when I try to save it, the “done” button top right is hidden underneath another button and can’t be pressed.

Can someone explain this to me like I’m five? iOS tells me I have used 185 GB of 200 GB iCloud storage (let’s gloss over the terrible graphic where 185/200 looks about 60%)
Adding up the various sub categories, I get to only 120 GB. Where is the rest being used in iCloud?

Even after all these years, Night Mode on an iPhone still manages to impress yet depress me in equal measure.
On the left, the tower block with NM on; the right, without. The level of detail NM can show is amazing. But the sky wasn’t blue nor was the building as visible; it wasn’t how I saw it.

I’ve found & reported (go me!) a bug in iOS 26.4 beta.
There’s a useful feature in Notes to record audio which gets transcribed immediately.
But in the beta (for me at least) the Notes app crashes when I do this. (Use this video to learn how to do it - it’s fine in iOS 26.3 & earlier)

I went to London Charing Cross for a train which showed as platform six, so I got on the one there & started working with my headphones on (you’re probably ahead of me here…)
Apparently ‘there were announcements’ that it was now going from platform five - which it did, without me.

Who remembers when the NME was THE music magazine, featuring bands with an edge rather than the bubble gum Top 40?
