We also haven't touched that Magical Circle jumps out Summoner Monk, which jumps out Rescue Cat, which jumps out two Airbellums (two 7☆ synchros of the player's choosing) or Airbellum plus Ryko (Catastor, Android, or Mist Wurm).

Arcane Apprentice is an interesting option for dedicated Assault Mode decks. Sunny Pixie is funny for making Android, but bad overall. Eccentric Boy sounds great in theory, but because most of Spellcasters' strongest monsters are 4☆s, you'd just end up picking from a pool of MID 7☆ vanilla synchros.

Tuner access is kind of sick too. Aside Tuned Magician (harder to use), Flamvell Magician and Night's End Sorceror both have interesting applications: the former as a 4☆ tuner for 8☆ synchro access, the latter as a 2☆ tuner both for 6☆ synchro access and as GY hate.

I need to explore Magician's Circle, gotta be something there. The battle-to-summon thing is a bit limiting, but Spellcasters are flush with strong 4☆s to normal or special with Circle: Breaker, Defender, Kycoo, Lyla, Exemplar, Tuned, etc. (+Dark Elf and Crusader.) It's an EASY Chaos enabler too.
