The closest I ever got to Carrie Fisher - except for seeing her waybin the distance at a Celebration - was failing to help the lovely researchers at the Jack Docherty show. They sent me her autograph and a tape of the show anyway! Like I said, lovely people.

Hope he didn't just get fired - or reformatted - for being honest.
I spoke to one of the Google help assistants - an actual person, unless the AI is getting good at spelling errors - and they made sure for me that the slop is opt in only. They admitted that they'd love to be able to sneak into the 'Gemini room' and switch the power off forever. Then the chat ended.
#Google are getting really desperate with the #AI thing. The uptake must really be awful. I have a very basic storage account with them, and was just emailed to say I now have access to all the 'advantages' of one of their previously subscription only AI slop accounts. Nope. Do not want #AIslop
