The Toronto Maple Leafs announced today that the hockey club has traded forward Bobby McMann to the Seattle Kraken in exchange for a conditional second-round selection in the 2027 NHL Draft and a fourth-round selection in the 2026 NHL Draft. The second-round selection in the 2027 NHL Draft will be the later selection of the Winnipeg or Columbus 2027 second-round picks, which Seattle currently own from prior trades. The fourth-round pick will be Anaheim's selection previously acquired by Seattle.

From what I am understanding..

If #LeafsForever finishes 6th or 7th at the bottom of the league, if they have real luck, the lottery balls land in their favor and we could get a 1 through 5 pick.

Hard to imagine OEL not getting traded as he's been scratched the past two games. With that said, no firm offers for him yet.

I don’t mind the tank because we MIGHT get that top-10 projected, but I’m worried about how this affects the goalies SV%. They’re really good goalies for the most part(especially last year), the defense is just NOT it.
