Well, this is just my view, but I think that evil/badness is only really aan issue if it affects others. Utilitarian type stuff, evil is when a net harm is done to people.

If you keep it in, that's proof you're a good person, right?

We're often much harsher on ourselves than we are to others, and that extends to seeing ourselves as worse than others see us, typically.

But when other people can't see your motivations or all of your actions, they can be quick to villainise you.

From my interactions with you you're not a bad person at all, I've never seen you act in a negative way, if that helps.

Whereas I get told by everyone I'm not a bad person and mostly don't believe myself to be, but people treat me like I am sometimes.

So I think it's just. complicated
