This article sees Tommy Curry delve further into the themes from our recent debate “The one and the many” to explore the deep-rooted racial and political hierarchies concealed within democracy, equality, and liberty.

This Black History Month, be sure to hear and tell your stories. In the Green Book Project, we’re using that oral history to map out how Black people navigated segregation. Your contributions to the community map preserve history: greenbookproject.org.ohio-state.edu #GreenBookProject

Who wants to "Venture into Black Philosophy" in Year 3 from next week with me (before getting hit so hard by @DrTJC in Year 4 & PG)? http://www.drps.ed.a...
Surprised but nevertheless appreciative that my work on the racism of the liberal university was taken up in Slovakia.

In a world of Sundown Towns where Black people weren’t allowed after nightfall, Green Book businesses were tiny spots of light. Traveling while Black was about survival. The Green Book Project documents that history:

In October @proftjcurry.bsky.social became the first Black philosopher to have expert testimony pass the Daubert Standard, the benchmark US courts use to assess the reliability of evidence. Read about Prof Curry's testimony and experience here: edin.ac/3Mnz7qM

This was a tremendous pleasure and extraordinary burden.
In October, I had the tremendous pleasure of working with Attorney Ryan Thompson as part of the defense team for Mr. Kelvin Atkins. Mr. Atkins was a victim of domestic abuse, specifically police utilization and violent threats.

The presumption is that white boys socialization is the norm for all boys. For decades we have seen Black boys mistreated in classrooms, profiled as dangerous, and abused by white female teachers. This is not an issue of misogyny. It is a/b trying to make the boy issue a white issue.
This is a great opportunity for scholars to come to the University of Edinburgh and produce work without the stress of U.S. political racism.
Happy Birthday
wm are not written a/b being enslaved, or being victims of domestic abuse since the 1900s during segregation. You lack the knowledge of the difference among Black Americans to speak on how BM research their oppression. I tire of this arrogance among white feminists.
I would expect such a response from a white feminist. The rape of BM by white women throughout colonies & during enslavement has been denied precisely because white women hid behind accusations of misogyny whenever Black men identify your role in oppression and murder.
The censoring & hatred of Black men theorizing themselves in the Western academy is unmatched. These white feminists have no problem criticizing BM when they have enslaved, colonized & committed genocide a/g racialized men, but have a problem w/ BM theorizing this violent feminist tradition.
