If I may ask, please join me in also remembering my good friend and former student, CPT Dave Fraser, KIA in Iraq on November 26, 2006. He was an extraordinary young man who was taken from us far too soon. Rest in peace, Dave.

Remembering my friend and former student CPT Dave Fraser, KIA in Iraq on November 26, 2006. You lived an exemplary life, Dave, but it was far too short. May it be said, "Well done, be thou at peace."
Woops! Sorry--you are correct. "Everyday Engineering" has 36; "Epic Engineering Failures" has 26. Still, you should watch "Everyday Engineering" too.
But the clowns have flame throwers.
The course is 36 lectures, so you've still got 10 to go! You can own it for a mere 40 bucks... www.thegreatcourses.com/courses/ever...
Try immersing the entire apparatus in a large tank of mineral oil. The damping effect will be excellent.
I have every one of his books on my bookshelf!
Oddly, increased toilet usage has been accompanied by cleaner clothing.
I'm with you! See Lectures 14 and 15 of my Great Courses lecture series, "Everyday Engineering" www.thegreatcourses.com/courses/ever...
Thanks, Kevin! I loved developing this lecture, because it's an aspect of the medieval world that most people don't think much about.
Thanks, Kevin!
Jagga jagga!
I’m excited to announce that my new Great Courses lecture series—“Understanding the Marvels of Medieval Technology”—has just been released. In this course, you’ll learn about castles, cathedrals, catapults, carracks, clocks, cannons, and more—all from an engineering perspective. Link below.
Bravo. Special effects worth of Spielberg.
My front door. As Trump sides with the Axis of Evil, it’s important for all of us to show our true colors.
Trump doesn't seem to recognize that Ukraine and the EU have agency. Putin and trump can concoct their ridiculous "peace" deal, but Zelenskyy will just tell them to pound sand. We can only hope that the EU is ready to step up to the plate.
Absolute proof that Elmo is a ruZZIan operative.
Yeah, and why is the surly guy sitting at Musk’s desk.

But will this system protect the donkeys?
Here ya' go, Six.

Probably a former railroad bridge that was converted for automotive use by removing the rails and adding wooden sleepers. The steel girders are huge, so it's certainly strong enough. It would be easy and cheap to add a proper concrete deck--but, of course, ruZZia has other priorities.
Another informative update. Well done, sir.
She reminds me of my Afghan friends--heart of gold and resilient as steel.
It's hardly worth wasting a drone on.
Superb update, with many reasons for optimism. #NAFO #SlavaUkraini
Oooooh, good idea! Carbon sequestration.
No, we cant change Newton's equation. (It's the Law.)
