I'm embarrassed to say this, but I genuinely do not know what this is from. π

Post viewing. So, I'm worried this one won't be super memorable in years to come, but I hope I'm wrong. It's a blast!
A little campy, a little gross, a little zombie-like. The leads are great. I felt a lot of Return of the Living Dead here. Check it out!

Seriously! That opening and the scene with the prison bars or whatever they were are burned into my brain.
That's honestly a great one. I remember watching the ANOES films out of order as a kid and being freaked out by some of the scenes. For a while I vividly remembered the school bus scene in ANOES 2 and the church in 5.
Carrie is a great one but I saw it later in life. Some others that traumatized me as a kid were, funny enough, not great movies, but The Haunting with Liam Neeson and the Shining TV miniseries, lol.
I guess it didn't take much for me when I was younger.
Dude, same. As a kid, even just the opening fucked me up, and the rest was no better. π

Love a good, campy little scifi monster flick. Starting off strong!
I do remember this and honestly.. not nearly as bad of a show as some people would lead you to believe.

Been slacking a little lately so one of these is a holdover from last week, I think... Gotta get back in the groove. π«
What horror movie did you see way too young that stuck with you forever?
Before I saw Wishmaster in full, the VHS cover always terrified me.
Gravers, you've been waiting patiently. Here's my Scream 7 review. π»
The star rating might go up half a star as I sit on this movie a bit, but right now, I'm sad about what could have been.

Happy for Scream 7 and the franchise. My full review is still incoming but I'll admit that I find S7 disappointing... That being said, the franchise is always effective at making itself an event worth seeing at the movies. The latest entry is no different.
I don't know about better than 5 and 6 but there is some fun to be had with 7! Mostly the slasher sequences. The writing, in general, leaves a lot to be desired for me, which is a shame because Williamson wrote plenty of great Scream movies.
Saw Scream 7 today. Stay tuned for my thoughts...
ALSO finally saw The Bone Temple and I enjoyed it significantly more than 28 Years Later. π

Incantation and Caveat are recent favorites for me in this sense but for completely different reasons.

I've been a bit lukewarm on Shoenbrun's other films but this looks really cool. Maybe it's the slasher lover in me!
Is anybody else excited for Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma?

βSCREAM 7β is expected to open with around $60M globally this weekend, making it the second-biggest debut in the franchise.

Let me know what you think when you do. ππ
It's a really good time imo, and genuinely pretty scary with the right atmosphere!
100% agree! The livestream angle is a blast and should be utilized more often. This did it perfectly, as did Gonjiam Haunted Asylum. And you're right, the script for Deadstream is simply a delight.
I get that. I think the fact that it throws absolute shit AT the influencer and is kind of a satire of that whole realm helps the perception a lot, and let's just have fun at his expense.
Loveeeee this movie. It's one of my many new comfort horror watches.
"You can't unsee it."
