The 1 week figure comes from U.S. intelligence assessments for fissile material production. FactCheck adds nuance that full weaponization takes longer. My point remains that the JCPOA kept that timeline at over a year, now itβs well under a year.

My point stands regardless of whether you think Trump pulled out because he's a warmonger or that decision *caused* the escalation. Walking away from the JCPOA removed the constraints on Iran's nuclear program and left us with no agreement and no inspectors. That's not disputed.
Where am I getting 'potentially weeks'? The U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency, the State Department, the Arms Control Association, and FactCheck.org β all put Iran's fissile material production timeline at roughly one week or less. That's not my opinion. That's the U.S. intelligence community.

If you want to buy a gun, you don't need a passport or birth certificate to prove citizenship. And while states require documentation to get married, rules vary widely by state.
But under the SAVE Act, you'd need documentary proof of U.S. citizenship.

If President Trump wanted the 2026 State of the Union to feel like a variety show or reality TV, he nailed it. Celebrity moments, emotional gallery reveals, surprise announcements β and Democrats cast in a full villain edit.
