This is very cool! I see what you mean about the pretty nose and eye
FF7 fanart. Dressed in a P0-type uniform, Minerva holds a very young Genesis against her shoulder. Her face is cracked like Chaos', and mako leaks from where her right eye should be.
A closeup reveals a planet within her iris instead of a pupil.
Peace talks with the muse were a success. Behold the goddess.

Vibrant photo of an eReader on a ledge with trees in hues of green and yellow and orange in the background. Some large yellow oak tree leaves sit to the left on the ledge. On the eReader screen is the cover of Miners of the Mystics by Penny Moss

Graphic for Rumpelstilzchen by Sam Northman that has New Release banners in gold across the upper left and lower right corners. The background is a swirl of shadows and gold. Rumpelstilzchen by Sam Northman is written in sharp front in the upper right with MM shadow daddy fairytale retelling romance in the center. An ereader, phone, and paperback are middle left, each displaying the book. Three, large, red strawberry outlines decorate the background and sneak out from behind the books.
Another graphic with the background except Rumpelstilzchen by Sam Northman is written at the top, and a large paperback is in the lower left with arrows leading to content/tropes surrounding it. They list: shadow daddy, power imbalance, erotically hand-fed fruits and cheeses, morally gray MC, dominance/submission, "good boy," shadow falls first.
Release day!!
Rumpelstilzchen by Sam Northman is now live on the zΓΈn!
I'm still reading this book, but I'm enjoying it so MUCH. If you like fantasy M/M romance CHECK THIS BOOK OUT.
I shared a couple of π₯ quotes directly on my IG post if you want to be tantalized π

Bookish Bingo card with autumn themes including colors of orange, light purple, and teal. It reads "Diversity Bookish Bingo" at the top and "for Autumn" at the bottom in bright orange. There are artistic candles in the top left, a cute ghost on the top right, and a graphic of an open book with an autumn leaf and pair of glasses folded on top of it on the bottom right. In the hazy background is an autumn tree with fallen leaves. The bingo is in a 3x3 grid. From top left to bottom right reads in order: Book by a non-binary author Book by a trans author Book by a POC author Book with an MM relationship or romance Free space for a diverse book Book with an FF relationship or romance Book with a bisexual character Book with an asexual or demisexual character Book with a gender queer (NB, trans, fluid, etc.) character
Similar graphic but with in place of the bingo grid is a light orange rectangle with words in it that read Happy Spooky Month and happy October 1st to those who celebrate! I made a small Bookish Bingo for anyone looking to add more diversity to their bookshelves or for anyone trying to get in a few more diverse books before year's end. This is a fun little bingo to work on over the next couple of months. Three books in a row (including diagonal!) win you the bingo and a beautifully more diverse bookshelf. Or! For the competitive among us, try to complete as many as possible or all nine for a full card! Feel free to use this bingo card how you like and have fun!

A picture of four Boba beverages on a counter, one of them neon pinkish red, the other three shades of beige/brown. On the sides of the cups shows boba cups in a "Cheers" salute.
Some Boba tea I got a bit ago. I should have a free Starbucks drink later so I decided to get a refreshing watermelon lime slush with pomegranate popping Boba here π§π
Photo of my eReader with The Warm Machine cover on the screen. The eReader has a case that depicts bookcases with books, and you can see it around the edges of the screen. "Currently Reading" is written vertically along the left side of the eReader screen with a squiggle slash to the left of it for emphasis. The eReader is leaning against a white brick wall that has rainbow lights and sparkles cast onto it.
The same photo has a purple and teal overlay block with text on it. There is the profile of a robot from the waist up on the bottom left. The text is a quote from The Warm Machine that reads: "I think I may like a name," he said. "Bots do not 'like,'" answered the other bot. "What do you know about names for bots?" FLC0776 asked. "Bots do not name themselves," said the anonymous bot. "Do you have a name?" inquired FLC0776. "No." "Not even AZR4700?" "AZR4700 is a model number, not a name." "What if we name each other?" For a bot that responded almost before FLC0776 could send his message, the bot paused, like it was calculating every possible risk, every downside to having a name. It took almost a full minute before the other bot asked: "What would you name me?"
The same image as last with the block overlay and text that reads: The Warm Machine is about a construction bot and spy bot that become anomalous, or in other words, experience FEELINGS that bots aren't supposed to have. They become friends and maybe something more, and when one of them is set for deactivation, the two bots run away together. There's a LOT more to it, but I don't want to give anything away! The Warm Machine is written SO well, and I'm becoming a little more obsessed with every chapter.
The same Currently Reading photo but blurred a bit with "The Warm Machine Aimee Cozza" written in sharp cursive font at the top and copies of the book on eReader, phone screen, and Paperback displayed underneath it.

Oooo, I am INTRIGUED π
It was initially the idea of bots that aren't supposed to "feel" FEELING things for each other that drew me, but the way they process the world, think, and connect has been a boon I wasn't expecting. It's so well done, and I've just been nibbling at it bit by bit because I don't want it to end
Oh, you for sure succeeded. They have *SO* much depth and feeling to them, and I'm scraping away and finding more and more as I read. They have SO MUCH heart
As someone who doesn't really like most "smart tech" or gen AI I wasn't sure how I would end up feeling about The Warm Machine, but two chapters in, I was hooked. And then you made me start FEELING things. And the VISUALS π€π
There's something about the way you write them that makes me feel more things than soo many books I've read with HUMAN characters π€ They're clearly bots but they're also clearly feeling bots, and I'm so into it.

Background image of spooky forest. Text reads: It would have been nice to convince some NPCs to join us, but it was probably better not to bring anyone where we were going. A queasy feeling in my stomach said it was probably better we didn't go where we were going.

Photograph of my Kobo eReader displaying the cover of Zel by Amanda Meuwissen on its screen. The eReader is framed in its colorful case that depicts shelves and books. It's sitting on a moss-covered bench, green, soft moss beneath it and stretching beyond it on the bench. There's grass and dirt beneath and behind the bench in the background. The words "Currently Reading" are written in jaunty script across the photo along the left side of the eReader case.
Currently ARC reading Zel by @amandameuwissen.bsky.social before its release on Sep 11th!
This is an M/M Repunzel retelling in which the "damsel" is an assΓ’ssΔ―n sent to woo the sorcerer of the tower to find out his weaknesses and kΔ―ll him. Except "Zel" starts to fall for his target.

I really like bluesky, but I've become very spoiled by the big character limit on Threads. I often try to copy post here, but it's enough for 2-3 posts here instead of the one on Threads and threading it or chopping it down doesn't give the same meaning/affect
So, I've fallen WAY behind on all of my reading, and I've missed a couple ARC release dates due to life stuff to put it simply. HOPEFULLY things should calm down for a while. Next up I must finish two books I'm judging, but then I will slowly catch up on late ARCs and review them as soon as I can ππ
Congrats!!
