Lindor is my boy. Soto joining the team and being paid as much as he is had to rock some boats especially when he seemed standoffish to almost all except with Marte. He seemed to warm up a little bit as the season ended, but he just gives weird vibes.

Yeah, I hated that he did that. Marte barely seemed to get along with anyone pre Soto. Maybe more like a solo flyer. He and Soto are clearly pals. But for Soto to say that as the new guy in town was shitty.

I don’t believe an alternative exists. Everything is all about the dollahs. No going back. I just don’t like it. I thought 150 something million to retire as a Met should have been enough. I hope he stays but looking $haky.

100% Agree on proportions. The same follows for the corporate world. My point is I believe they all make too much, and it is at the expense of most everyone else.

I do object to all those actually, and many others. Sure some professions/careers deserve high salaries. But when you’re talking $100 million over 3 years is not enough to stay a Met? I think it’s greedy.

Cheesecake is ok, but there are SO many other baked items that are better. Anything with French buttercream, chocolate babka, apple tart tatin, galette des rois for starters.
